Role Definition

A management trainee is one who assists in formulating business strategies including business models, developing new products and establishing new markets. The trainee would also be responsible for generating revenue by sourcing leads and converting them into successful closures in Solar Rooftop and Open Access segment.

Responsibility Deliverable

  1. Strategize in Business Models and Business Plans
  2. Assist in developing new products and establishing new markets
  3. Data Sourcing and Lead Generation
  4. Sales Meetings and closures

Tasks & Activities

  • Strategic Role
    • Work with higher management in formulating business strategies
    • Research for new markets and know-how of renewable industry
    • Assist and strategize in new products & services
    • Making business plans and financial models
  • Business Development
    • Pre-sales activities including lead generation, quality research, calling up decision makers of the target customer to get meetings for the sales team
    • Write emails professionally to share company profile or any information the prospective client seeks about the company
    • Being the communication bridge between the prospective client and the Business Development team to ensure meeting details accuracy
    • Understand and generate the solar/renewable energy requirement of the customer
    • Accompany BD Team for meetings to understand and grasp the selling skills
    • Work with Marketing Team to understand the digital, social media marketing strategies
    • Research and assist in executing magnetic marketing strategies

Candidate Profile

  • Should have good business analytical skills
  • Proficient in financial model skills
  • Should have considerable skills in office tools like Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Should have Communication Skills and be a team player

Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager
Location- Noida

Role Definition

Business Development Manager is one who is responsible for generating revenues for Infinia Energy by sourcing contacts and converting them into successful closures in Rooftop and Open Access Solar segment

Responsibility Deliverable

  1. Data Sourcing and Management
  2. Generating Enquiries and Sales Meeting
  3. Sales Proposal/Transaction Management
  4. Deal closure resulting into Sales conversion

Tasks & Activities

  • Data Sourcing and Management

    • Sourcing accurate contact details from online sources like LinkedIN, Google Search and from offline networks of the decision makers in the potential target Companies
    • Maintaining the database on the internal templates of the organization

    Sales Meetings

    • Prepare for meetings/calls via structured research about the target client
    • Having effective sales meetings/calls in order to:
    • Understand the rooftop and open access solar/renewable energy requirement of the client
    • Position Infinia Solar as their preferred Renewable Energy advisor and Business Partner’s Solar/Renewable Energy solutions as best choice for the client
    • Generate requirements for solar energy from the client

    Sales Proposals/Transaction Management

    • Create presentations based on the client requirements
    • Coordinate with the Business Partners to generate proposals

    Deal Closure/Sales Conversion

    • Negotiate win-win deals
    • Maintain profitability index as per management guidelines

    Client Coordination

    • Write emails professionally to record all discussions with the client
    • Record all interactions with the client written, verbal etc. in the CRM
    • Be the interface between the client and the business partner team from contact to closing of the deal
    • Maintain long-term relationship with the Client

Measurement Metrics

  • # of leads identified per week under for the defined markets, products and customer segments
  • # of meetings per week & per month
  • # of interactions update with client in CRM per month
  • # of accounts converted per month

Candidate Profile

  • Passionate about Renewable Energy
  • Should have considerable skills in office tools like Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Should have Excellent Analytical, Problem Solving and Communication Skills and be a team player
  • Should be a go-getter, focused, ambitious, sales expert and driven to succeed; result orientated, hungry for growth
  • Organized and disciplined with ability to manage expectations
  • Should have DNA for client centricity and quality
